The Cyprus Planetarium, T&O promotes the necessity of climate neutrality and aims to contribute with an efficient environmental plan. In collaboration with all the local and regional authorities, creates a program with various actions to inform and raise public awareness of the urgent need to act and save our planet, our home.

Starting from our everyday behaviour that is crucial for the protection of the environment, the 3R principle – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, is very simple to implement from everyone.
It requires only a good plan at the beginning and it will soon become a habit. This can protect our planet, our home and save money at the same time.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Waste management matters! Why? Because it keeps as much material out of the landfills as possible.
#Care more and put that plan into action.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
- Reduce: choose to use things with care to reduce the amount of waste generated.
- Reuse: repeated use of items or parts of items which still have usable aspects.
- Recycle: turn something old and useless (like plastic milk jugs) into something new and useful (like picnic benches, playground equipment and recycling bins).
