Despite its compact size, it delivers outstanding views of the Sun's chromosphere, allowing us to observe prominences, filaments, and solar eruptions with clarity and precision.
The Lunt ST 70/420 LS60MT Ha B600 Allround OTA combines portability with professional-grade solar performance. Its hydrogen-alpha filter reveals the dynamic structure of the Sun's chromosphere — sunspots, prominences, filaments and eruptions — in real time and with complete safety.
Weather permitting. Weekdays: 10:15 – 11:00 / 15:00 – 16:00 (except Thursdays — not available). Weekends: 10:15 – 11:00 / 14:30 – 15:30.
Observing through the Compact Helioscope is weather permitted. Clear skies are required for safe, high-quality solar viewing.
